Chic Garden Party & Golden headband

Blue maxi in the vegetable and herb garden

Our day began with a huge bottle of Laurent Perrier and fish roe canapés as we got settled into the idyllic county setting underneath the apple trees and singing birds. We toasted to my brothers 30th birthday and enjoyed some together time. The beautiful host and hostess had prepared everything to the max and we felt pampered throughout the day. My evening attire was a long blue and white maxi and a braided golden headband that is actually a necklace. The long dress was a good choice for the evening as it got cooler and kept the mosquitos away from the legs. I love the patterns on the dress and the mixture of blue shades. The dress also has a nice fall to it and a deep open back. The golden headband gives the outfit a greek goddess effect giving it that finishing touch I envisioned.

For lunch we had a delicious fish & seafood plate with smoked whitefish, chargrilled tiger prawns, herring, salmon cake, new potatoes and chanterelles. It was heaven on a plate and the way to start a chic garden party in the heart of Nordic nature. Later we ate some amazing pork that had been in preparation for 12 hours with a soja foam and wasabi vegetables. The food literally melted in my mouth, so good and delicious!
