Preppish Horse Rider

There is no denying that I love a crisp collared shirt, they just look sharp and snazzy everytime… very appropriate for a bit of equine flair. This boyfriend cut shirt is not only super comfortable but it also works nicely with fitted pants to create that relaxed chic look. As summer has now faded away and turned this city an intense golden shade, the equestrian style has made a seasonal comeback.

I love everything about this style; the fitted blazers and trousers, golden horsebits that I simply cannot resist and shiny leather boots. Massimo Dutti has the hottest 2013 equestrian campagne this fall, go check it out here. Maybe I love this trend so much as I used to be an obsessed horse gal for all my youth and naturally grew up with hints of this style. It feels comforting both inside and out.Β  I’m wearing knee-high socks that are cute and practical this time of year and I like how they peek from underneath the boots.

ps. look at those beautiful leaves… really is an amazing time of year, natures natural blush.
