Something to serve during a dinner party.. perhaps for new years?

Ingredients

  • Smoked salmon
  • Avocado
  • Horseradish Cream Cheese
  • Lemon Juice

Garnish: Lemon zest and ground black pepper & a mixture of green leaves

Directions

Just like you are making sushi… Begin by making the stuffing for the salmon. Mix the avocado, a tiny bit of lemon juice and the horseradish cream cheese in a food processor. Make sure the paste is smooth. Line the thinly cut salmon on a piece of cling film. Layer the avocado paste on 1/3 of the salmon as you can see in the picture below. Roll the salmon into a tight roll with the help of the cling film and add foil on top. Place into a freezer for about an hour until the surface hardens a bit as this makes it easier to cut. With a sharp knife, cut into rolls. Garnish with lemon zest, a mixture of green leaves and ground black pepper.

Niin kuin tekisit sushia...aloita tÀytteestÀ: sekoita avokado, tilkka sitruunanmehua ja piparijuuritahna tehosekoittimessa pehmeÀksi. Sitten asettele ohuet lohiviipaleet emukelmun pÀÀlle niin kuin alla olevassa kuvassa nÀkyy. LevitÀ avokadotahna viipaleiden pÀÀlle kÀyttÀen  1/3 osa lohesta. Rullaa tÀmÀ tiukasti kiinni ja laita vielÀ folio tÀmÀn pÀÀlle. Laita pakastimeen noin tunniksi kunnes pinta on kohmettunut niin se on helpompi leikata. Viipaloi ja koristele.
