Monday Green Smoothie

I open my eyes at 6 am to see the sun rising from my window. The birds are chirping outside and I tiptoe to the kitchen to make myself a cup of green tea. I have a free day today that I am so happy about this after last weeks hectic schedule, so I’ve planned to organize and spring clean! As the weather is so good, Mr. N and I will also go for a long walk and spend as much time outdoors! My day began with this green smoothie that has a real kick to it. I’ve been having a bit of a cough and a sore throat so I’ve pumped up the amount of ginger and lemon that gives the smoothie some proper heat!  This tastes absolutely delicious and is the best way to start a brand new week!   • A large chunk of Ginger
  • 1 celery
  • 2 Kiwi’s
  • Grape Fruit
  • Handful of Spinach Leaves
  • 100 g Quark
  • A Pinch of Salt
  • 1 Banana
  • 1/2 Lemon Juice

Garnish with slices of kiwi, lingonberry and granola

/ Maanantai vihreä smoothie ja uusi viikko! Tänään on vapaa päivä niin ajattelin siivoilla ja sitten lähdemme lenkkeilemään ulos! Aurinko paistaa ja kevättä rinnassa!

  • Iso pala Inkivääriä
  • 1/2 Sitruunan Mehu
  • 2 Kiwiä
  • 1 Selleri
  • 1 Greippi
  • Kourallinen Pinaatin lehtiä
  • 100 g Maitorahkaa
  • Ripaus Sormisuolaa
  • 1 Banaani

Koristele kiwillä , puolukoilla ja myslillä
