Gone Seashell white

Tones of white. When I slip on something white, it makes me feel fresh, pure, delicate and feminine. For some reason, I always come back to these soft tones, when it comes to fashion, flowers or interior, it definitely comes close to my heart. I will never get bored with the elegance and simplicity a white tone entails. I think it must be a detox from the heavy winter cashmeres and a transformation into spring through light gentle materials and shades of white. But the question is, what sort of white are you?! The detailed cottons from Balenciage and Chole, or an aspired romantic embroidery from Valentino or Stella McCartney or simple clean folds from Prada and Celine. 2014 Spring runways were bursting with white tones and I’ve come to notice, I love an absolute simplicity with a touch of boho vibes and romance. I love the clean shades along with off tones, like old lace and ivory.

Today’s ootd is an all white look, a clean minimalistic linen dress. With a bit of a cropped t-shit, the seashell white dress falls nicely from the waist. The weather was incredibly warm and humid, so I added a vintage style lace blouse on top. It adds a touch of romance and another layer of interest to the look. I love to pile texture and prints when it comes to a white palette and this blouse works well with an otherwise simple dress. The look is completed with a nude coloured Chanel and similar ballerinas.
