… in floral prints and a maxi

Hey everyone! I’ve had a wonderful weekend at the countryside where we celebrated my birthday amongst family! I was spoiled by amazing food, chilled wine, warm weather and a blissful surrounding of a blooming nature. M & P’s summer cottage is a little piece of heaven, where you feel tranquil, at ease and connected to the amazing Finnish countryside. Our dogs were chilling on the patio and I could spend all day in their garden under the blooming trees or sit on the dock looking into the horizon of the still lake. It feels good to get older in an atmosphere like this and I feel lucky to have such a wonderful family.

My garden party outfit is a hint of country chic. The blooming flower blouse ( so appropriate for the surroundings) is loosely tucked into a blue maxi dress. I also wore coral ballerinas that are easy to slip on also adding a bit of colour to the blues.

Chilled wine on the porch…

Enjoying a glass of ice gold wine on the porch with my future sister-in-law and listening to the chirping birds in the nearby trees. Our men were cooking in the kitchen and the wonderful  aroma of the cooking mussels lingers.. such an amazing friday! Find the mussel recipe from here.

For the main course, we had the most amazing Asian broth with a perfectly cooked salmon that my brother makes. I will have to share this recipe later with you guys, as it is something you can not miss! We sat the evening outside listening to music and chilling until early hours of the morning!
