Coral Kaftan & Seafood platter

Lunching on the edge of the sea. Our sunny day is refreshed with the salty sea air and some ice cold crisp prosecco. I love the feeling as you sit down after a bit of a walk and swallow the first of the cool delicate bubbles. I’ve got my hair in a messy bun and my bikini underneath as we are heading to sunbathe after lunch… and yes, I do have my diamond earings on, you can never go wrong overdressed, even when you are going to the beach! I have my oversized Gucci bag and my favourite metallic sandals on. My shear coral-red kaftan is perfect for a coastal location on a hot day. The dress has slits on both sides of the hem and the cotton is beautifully delicate.  We have got the most sensational view as we eat in the heart of the old town in Otranto, Italy.

Restaurant Tip: Acmet Pasciá

V. Lungo Mare degli Eroi Otranto

This wonderful fish restaurant overlooks the port and the breathtaking sea, where you feel peaceful and one with the sea. The cuisine takes into consideration its local produce and prepares them in a traditional simplistic manner. The tastes are clean yet sophisticated as all the ingredients speak for themselves without overpowering the core flavours. I ate a delicious sea food platter that had swordfish, a selection of clams and shrimps and Langoustines . We drank dry white wine/prosecco and enjoyed the most spectacular lunch here.
