Preppy vs. Edgy

Ciao! We visited the beautiful Corso Como in Milan, where we shopped and walked around admiring their unique products. We also spent a couple of hours sitting in their café eating olives, drinking two bottles of spumante and enjoying some girl talk. We chatted, laughed, people watched and took in the stunning architecture of the old building. The overgrown vines added charm and a fairytale type feeling to the place and it felt so good to sit outside still in November.

Today’s style has preppy and edgy vibes to it, where femininity meets masculine elements. I have a white lace blouse tucked into a flared navy blue skirt and over the knee boots. These boots have a Chanel feeling to them with the super slim design and the lacquered tip and heel. At the moment, they are my favourite! My outfit feels complete with my new petrol blue Borsalino hat and biker gloves. I’m so happy – I have finally found a small enough hat that fits my head and I love the charm this old brand has! The colour could not be more perfect for me! The black leather gloves and black Chanel add a rockish dimension to my look adding that masculinity to balance the girly skirt.
