brera

Our hotel was located in the idyllic Brera area, possibly my favourite district in Milan. The cozy narrow streets are filled with little boutiques and great restaurants. The morning market had a hassle of locals that were buying their weekend groceries. I loved all the fresh produce from fish and sweafood to seasonal vegetables. I also love the little parfumeries and overflowing vines that drape off the french-style balconies in the Brera area. I had some vitello tonnato for lunch and did a bit of shopping at diptyque afterwards. My outfit is totally casual; ripped jeans and a marine style blazer with a white blouse and a large linen scarf.
