‘It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, toy’s in every store!’ 

We finally have a bit of snow, perfect timing just for Christmas, only 3 more nights! Mr. N and I went to the Christmas market today and took a long walk with our dog around the city enjoying all the decorated windows. Today was a perfect sunny sunday filled with warm mulled wine, the smell of roasted chesnuts and frozen hair tips. I’ve got candy red lips to bring on the Christmas spirit and we even spotted Santa Claus! The market filled with the sounds of christmas carols coming from the carousel, kids playing in the snow and the smell of fresh christmas trees. Everyone is joyous and in full Christmas spirit! I’m wearing mostly white today; a soft droopy beanie, a woolen jacket and a warm cashmere scarf.

At the moment. It’s dark outside and I’m looking at the white rooftops from my window. It’s a beautiful view, especially in the morning as the sun comes out. The house is spotless, our bed sheets are crisp and clean and the lights are dimmed while the candles are flickering in the living room. We just watched ‘Home Alone 2’ (a christmas tradition of ours to watch all our favourite christmas movies, Grinch is saved for last!), ate some comforting soup and now enjoying this lovely evening. I think I’m going to crack a couple of walnuts and fall on the sofa in the arms of my man under a warm blanket.
