Hey there darlings!
“Lime Juice, wind flowers & a spoonful of delicious porridge is what saturday morning’s are made out off”. Don’t you just love the sea of white wind flowers that has spread across meadows and forests this time of year?! I find the view to be breathtaking, each flower is so delicate and gentle, so darling! This past two weeks and weekends have been extremely busy and hectic and at the end of each day, I’ve been so happy to come home and fall into full relaxation mode. I haven’t had a proper nights sleep in a while. Every day I’ve woken up before 5 am, and still I feel like there is so much to do and not enough time. In a couple of days though, my pace will slow down and I cannot be happier about that! I have an entire check list of chores to be done at home that I will tuck into as soon as I have time. They have promised really warm weather for next week, this means it’s time to do some flower planting on the balcony as well. I’ve been to the plant shop a couple of times and it has been really difficult not to buy anything, so I can’t wait to do that!
How has your Saturday been so far? After such a hectic schedule, it feels like total bliss to have a small moment of pure ease. It feels so good to just stop for a while. I squeezed some lime juice water & flicked through a magazine while eating the most amazing porridge. I made some rye and oat porridge cooked with a splash of milk, a knob of butter & maldon salt. I added some sunflower, chia and pumpkin seeds along with coconut, plum & figs. Every spoonful was like a little piece of Tuscan heaven. This breakfast is so simple, yet it has a soft smooth well-rounded taste that made my morning extra special.
kiss kiss, enjoy the weekend!
