carrot juice (1 of 1)

‘Juice time‘… as most of you already know, morning juices (especially vegetable based) are a part of my regular routine and it should be a part of yours aswell! I cannot get enough of them and I strongly feel they are the key ingredient to give you an energetic radiant life and true optimal health. I’ve started liking this combination of carrots and ginger topped with a bit of parsley. I usually add about 3-4 carrots and a good chunk of ginger to give it a bit of heat. I drink the juice with my breakfast to get some additional vitamins and minerals in my body. Not only are you consuming more vegetables on a daily basis, but juicing also helps you absorb all the nutrients from them.  Carrots are nourishing ( vitamins C, D, E, K, B1 and B6) and have a high carotenoid content. They are also rich in biotin (music to my ears), which means it is good for hair and nail growth. It also contains other minerals such as calcium and potassium. Healthy juices are great during the summer as they hydrate and cleanse your body all at once. They make the perfect snack throughout the day. Cheers to this orange goodness!
