Coastal inspired mood board

Shades of blue & crispy white tones is what seaside is made out of. I created a small collage of today’s coastal inspired day as every day I walk around this beautiful harbour with our dog. I wanted to capture the intense brightness of the morning sun, you can almost feel the intense heat in the windless air pushing through the pictures.  For lunch we had a delicious coastal style lunch with some mussels in an aromatic broth and a simple salmon steak with sesame seeds. Summer by the sea is something I miss most during the winter time. I adore the smell of the salty sea air that blows with the wind and the seagulls circling for fish while the sailboats drift in the horizon. There is beauty in a harbour, a life that feels so calm and inviting in its own subtle elegance. The sea that is so powerful and endearing that has the potential to be so tranquil and dangerous both at the same time.
