The perfect break,

The ancient village of Eze is the perfect escape from the ongoing glitz of Monaco, Cannes and St. Tropez. It is glamorous with its own rustic charm, sloping narrow streets and archways that open to hidden squares. It centres around the ruins of a 12th century castle, where the medieval streets lead you to fountains, sweet courtyards and you cannot help but to fall in love with this place. It is the perfect break, if you wish to enjoy a moment in pure bliss. We enjoyed the perfect dinner with a view like no other at Château Eza, overlooking the sun-kissed sunset that covered the entire waterfront and St Jean Cap Ferrat. The Michelin-starred restaurant is hidden in one of the most enchanting locations on the Côte d’ Azur.

Wandering around the rock-based village that is located 1,400 feet above sea level, makes you feel like you are in a fairytale. The labyrinthine streets, gorgeous bougainvillea covered villas and view of the Mediterranean is a recipe for the perfect escape. I wore a simple bohemian influenced outfit with lots of rings and thin necklaces. This flower top is lovely and light, making it perfect for warm evenings like this one. I wore golden sandals, stylish flats to easily move around the slippery paths. This top is slowly becoming one of my favourites.

Restaurant & hotel tip: Château Eza (find more information here)

With a bit of hike to the top of the hill lays a beautiful luxurious hotel that is ready to spoil you. If you wish to splurge, enjoy some nights here or just enjoy a spectacular dinner with a magnificent view. We enjoyed a couple of bottles of delicious light rosé and ate the tasting menu. It was great, modern and it ended with a huge selection of cheese from a wooden cart. The staff was so friendly and lovely, I think we were the last ones to leave! I wish I had taken pictures, but the sun was beginning to set and it was quite dark, I was too concentrated on eating, I didn’t take food photos this time. The cheeses were to die for, let’s just leave it at that. I mean look at the pink sunset in the picture below, need I say more!!
