In need to relaxation, right about now!

Wouldn’t you say, a good sun hat is a holiday must? It protects your hair and face from the sun while adding a stylish twist to your outfit. I’ve always loved panama hats, but when I was in Nice I wanted to try out an oversized floppy one, as I think it suits the atmosphere of France. I have to say, I loved the way it fell across my face and as of now it has a permanent spot in my closet, next to my other hats. This one has a bit of an Audrey Hepburn look to it because of the lattice cutout detail, wide floppy brim and decorated ribbon.

Me & my oversized hat are just about ready to leave on holiday! I am in serious need of relaxation, thank god there is only a week left! You know that feeling when everything just goes wrong?! …well that is what is happening at the moment at out household! Last week we found out that the neighbours water pipes have leaked underneath our kitchen floor, meaning it needs to be completely ripped open as soon as possible. So, not only am I swamped with work and barely have time to complete all my tasks, but now we have to empty the kitchen, remove all our valuables and move out of the house before the end of the week. We will have to be gone for two months, pack our fall things and find a place to stay. Luckily enough, we have one option open already. We need to re-order new tiles and organize a lot of things before we leave and it seems like the workload just keeps piling up on top of each other… As of now, I feel stressed and tired and ready to take off to Santorini and Italy! Me and my oversized sun hat will be sipping on some rosé, eating too much seafood and overlooking the turquoise waters while back home, the hassle is just about to start.
