Avocado Oat-milk Porridge

‘Healthy Porridge’

This healthy porridge has been my survival bowl for last week when I was sick in bed most days. It is packed with vitamins & good fats from the avocado and mixture of seeds, while the soothing texture of the porridge is comforting. Be wowed by the combo and embrace those wonderful healthy oils! The rye oats are slow cooked (for about an hour) in oat-milk that gives it a sweet flavour that I cannot get enough of. The texture of the porridge is soft and salty but solid enough to hold its form. The bowl is topped with lots of avocado, chia, pumpkin and flax seeds with a bit of fresh basil to taste like spring. This healthy breakfast will kick-start your morning and feed your body with all the right nourishment! Yes, it takes a bit of time to make, but it is so worth it especially on a slow sunday morning!

    • Thank you Sarah 🙂 well its just porridge oats cooked in oat milk topped with chia and avocado. The measurments for porridge are usually on the package but I donut free hand. Basically a cup or 2 of oats and enough milk so it is covered with a sprinkle of salt. Then just cook it slowly on low heat until the porridge is soft.
