9 am Siena, Italy

An espresso moment at piazza del Campo, just when the morning mist is about the disperse into the air and the sun is slowly beginning to warm up the cobbled streets. We came rather early to Siena, but already people were out exploring the streets, while locals were drinking their shots of coffee and eating baguette on the piazza steps before work. There was that morning hassle around us, yet the feeling was calm and relaxed just like the early yellow sky.  The espresso was just perfect with a nice layer of crema on top, thick and rich in consistency with a hint of bitter taste.
