Ring detail inspiration from the enlightened ancients
Gone for the Grecian look. Often when dressing in the mornings in Santorini, I found myself staring down at the open sea from the high cliffs wanting to wear layers of jewelry, mixes of style and easy flowy dresses. I was naturally drawn to Grecian style outfits, maybe it was the beautiful white washed walls and the unreal surroundings of Oia. During the day when it got really hot, I especially focused on wearing rings as that still felt comfortable and less restricted than chunky chains (minus the body chain that is my all time favourite, see here) in the heat. I found this statement tear drop ring from an antique boutique from the main street of Oia, it suits the Mediterranean vibe with its hues of turquoise and marries perfectly with the metallic tattoo. At this point I was not engaged yet, so I do not have my ring on, but I do have my parents old engagement ring that I also wear on a daily basis. I also found this dainty pinky evil eye ring in Oia, which I find to be super fun. The look is very Greek inspired, simple with a modern twist.
