When the weather is hot and summer is at it’s finest, all you want to do is eat something cooling and frosty. Instead of ice cream, why not try a healthier velvety sorbet smoothie?! This dark purple delight is a sweet craving savior making it the perfect quick and delicious summer dessert. The texture is soft, gooey and frothy and perfectly refreshing for these amazing hot days. So grab a spoon and make yourself the easiest evening treat.
- 1 1/2 cups frozen wild blueberries
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup ice
- 1 tablespoon peanut butter (or 2 dates)
- About 3 tablespoons oat milk
- Garnish: mint leaves & coconut flakes
Blend all the ingredients into a thick paste in a food processor and enjoy immediately. Change the consistency with the amount of oat milk and add a dollop of honey if you prefer extra sweetness.
