They are those small things in life that nurture your soul, a life with more gratitude can better our existence and be more fulfilling for the mind. Practising gratitude is an ongoing process and it’s good to stop once in a while to remind yourself of what makes you happy and what small acts can better others lives. Slowing down for gratitude can create a life with more personal worth.
At the moment I’m grateful for the small signs in nature that indicate a change in season. It makes me feel cozy and comforting as I know relaxing candle evenings are ahead of us. Nights are darker, my bed feels more cozier and forests are filled with mushrooms and berries. It is that yellow leaf or little apples growing on trees and mornings filled with fresh crispy air. Small acts of kindness can have a huge impact on your life and in others as well. Gratitude gives us order in our lives, a boost of confidence and a lifestyle that goes hand in hand with a calm peaceful way of life. These pictures are from the countryside, a moment that shows forms of gratitude in the simplest manner. It starts with a glimpse of sunlight peaking through the heavy apple trees after the rain followed by a large cup of earl grey tea in the kitchen. I’ve finally managed to capture the steam which gives it that cozy effect. The last picture is of my sis in law, who is gracefully pulling out carrots and potatoes from the dirt, ready to be prepared for tonight’s dinner.
