‘healthy and nutritious for the bride-to-be’
I’m so excited, it is less than a week until our wedding day and I have been thinking about what to eat during the morning of the wedding. Even though I know I won’t be hungry at all, it is absolutely essential to have a fulfilling breakfast as the day will be long and I don’t want one glass of bubbly going straight to my head! So, here it is, my day will start with oatmilk cooked porridge. It is topped with avocado, green tea pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, walnuts and chia and maybe even some sliced banana or berries. My favourite part about this is the green tea pumpkin seeds as they give a salty and a sweet “matcha” type of flavour to the porridge. This bowl is packed with good energy from the avocado and nuts and it is a calming breakfast for a nervous brides stomach. I’m already a little nervous… Later when I’m getting ready and all the bridesmaids are over, we will most likely order some sushi and nibble on macaroons while poping some champagne before it all starts.
