Cliffed right on top of an idyllic harbour, exists a 14th century picturesque village with a magical seafront with floating sailboats overlooking the Cap Ferret peninsula. Exploring villefranche sur mer is a breath of fresh air, it builds up from twisting staircases and pastel coloured buildings and tiny pathways that keep leading you to something more pretty. All shades of a crayon box exist in this little town and its easy to get lost in its magnificence. Villefranche sur Mer is right next to Nice in a beautiful and rich part of the Cote d’Azur. I’m wearing the most comfortable white maxi, light and easy for a town filled with stairs and uphill!
