Ephesus ruins & Red lips

Ephesus, was an ancient Greek city on the coast of Ionia (western Turkey) that was built in the 10th century BC founded by a tribe of great female warriors. Once the influential trading and spiritual sanctuary, Ephesus was one of the largest centres of the Mediterranean world that is well-preserved today. This ancient Greek city was famous for its Temple of Artemis built in 356BC which was recognized as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. During the 2nd century BC, Ephesus was one of the largest cities in the Eastern Roman empire, famous for its Artemisium and the Library of Celsus, that was rather amazing in person (see pics below). The ruins have beautiful carvings and mosaic details, streets made of marbles that lead to wonderful temples, fountains and porticoes. Walking through the pale paths of these ancient ruins was a breathtaking trip to ancient Greece.
