Mykonos, Greece
With glimpses of blue around every bright corner, you cannot help but to try to fit in with similar tones via silk shorts and boho ruffles. Mykonos is filled with cute stairways, random flower pots and white surroundings which intensify from the sun rays that is all surrounded with the most turquoise water. The picture perfect stone pathways called for numerous pictures that my hubby luckily had the patience for! The hand painted streets are protected with lots of little churches where the buildings reminisce of a medieval style. There are lots of restaurants and cafes, pigeon keepers and secretive narrow winding streets dressed with spots of blues. A glass of dry rosé (thankfully from southern france) and amazing meze plates, every blue door was more beautiful than the other that I’m sure held in decades of culture.
