lazy-morning-1-of-1

Today it has been a rainy day and I have felt a little under the weather so this sunday was dedicated to relaxing at home, watching movies and doing nothing really. To kick this flu back to the Himalayas, I decided to start the day with a green smoothie bowl that is packed with healthy nutrients and vitamins and a bouquet of fresh roses to bring joy on this gloomy day. Usually I never spend too much time in bed in the mornings, but today our start was slow and pleasant with a large batch of detox tea, clean linen sheets and a good book. To make this morning warrior glory bowl, all you have to do is pop all the ingredients in a blender and garnish with your favourite toppings. I love the rough comforting texture from the frozen banana and mixture of oats/nuts, while the matcha adds a delicious taste to the background. Sundays are meant for relaxing anyways, right?

Ingredients

  • 1 large avocado
  • 1 cup mint
  • 1 cup baby spinach leaves
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 1 cup cashew milk
  • 1/2 cup rye oats
  • 1/2 cup seeds/nuts of choice
  • 1 frozen banana (peal, slice and put into freezer)
  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • pinch of maldon salt

Garnish: lemon balm leaves, parsley, coconut flakes, hemp seeds, dried honey cashew
