Slow mornings & crispy bagels

This slow easter morning starts with cream cheese smoked salmon bagels, shots of espresso and enjoying the quietness of the city as most people have drifted away to their country houses. I’ve slowly read the morning paper, took a long pampering shower and dressed into this comfortable blue-hued outfit. The oversized blouse has wide sleeves and the colour combination, cut and pattern on it reminds of the linen clothing hanging in the narrow streets of Positano. It has that mediterranean feeling to it, the freshness and summerish feeling, I can just see myself wearing it with a wicker basket, espadrilles and a panama hat this June in Italy. Paired with a top knot and pale blue silk pants and spring blooms from our corner store, I would say easter has started out successfully. Today is going to be a lovely day otherwise, first outing in the forest with my hubby and Bella to enjoy the sunshine and then meeting friends later for a slow lunch over some bubbly.
