‘Green bowls & pretty bouquets’

A cleansing & refreshing green smoothie bowl is the way to start friday morning as it hydrates, instantly boosts, digests quickly, gets your metabolism working and keeps your energy levels stabilized. This pretty bowl fulfils your body with plant-based nutrients it craves giving you a delish vitamin shot in the morning. I’ve purposely avoided fruit because of the natural sugar, just a banana that gives a lovely creamy sweet texture to the base. Dark leafy greens contain rich amino acids, important minerals, vitamins, antioxidants and beneficial nutrients that improves overall health and the immune system. I’ve topped the smoothie with extra good energy with chunks of avocado, goji and mulberries, lemon zest, mint leaves, chia and some shaved cashews. All you have to do is blend the ingredients until smooth and top the bowl with any favourites from berries to granola or fruits. Have a wonderful weekend, we will be celebrating 1st of May here that will be a big party so a green bowl is just what I need!


  • 1/2 cup spinach
  • 1/2 cup kale
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 celery stalk
  • 1/2 cup parsley
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1/2-1 cup cashew milk
  • 1 frozen banana (sliced and frozen the night before)
  • water (optional: may need water to lighten the consistency)

Garnish: lemon zest, goji berries, mulberries, avocado chunks, mint leaves, chia, shaved cashew nuts
