Dusty Blush

Non vedo l’ora…

It’s 5.00 am, all is packed and we are ready for our vacay! I’m just having a cup of tea and doing my final double checks and soon we are ordering the taxi and heading to the airport. I’m ready to prolong summer a little longer and wear my dresses and heels under the Italian sun. These pearl blush mules and black boots are a new addition to my wardrobe… How pretty are the little pearls and the velvet texture on the heels? I think the colour will fit perfectly into my collection of clothes and bags. I love all the ballet slipper whispers of dusty blush and light mauve tints that have grey shades in them, as they are much more subtle and elegant than your average pink. These shades love leather and velvety blacks that are making their way into fall trends.

Today is going to be a long day as we fly to Rome but will drive 7 hours down south in one go. Our first stop is Tropea, in the region of Calabria that is completely new to us. We are only staying a few days there and then circling around our favourite Puglia region for the remaining time. We are staying in a few masserias and in the towns of Monopoli and Matera that are already familiar to us. I can’t wait to explore together with my love and celebrate our 1 year anniversary in the best way. Bon voyage! ā™„ It’s time to take the scenic route…
