Hand Painted Christmas Cards

Snow covered Christmas trees to kick off the holiday spirit’

Slowly the festive season sneaks upon us and I can’t believe December is just around the corner. One day I was feeling a creative spark and decided to pull out a few of my acrylic inks and brushes and began painting snow filled christmas trees on beautiful natural cards. With candles light on the kitchen table to bring some cosines to our dark November evenings, I also played the first of my Christmas songs to get into that holiday spirit. After a few tries, I started getting into the flow of making beautiful looking trees and just for fun posted some for sale on facebook’s marketplace and instagram. To my surprise the painted cards received a lot of recognition and the orders started rolling in. Now for the past 2 weeks I have painted over a 100 cards and brought some holiday spirit to other people as well. I think I will be making a yearly tradition out of this, I am grateful so many people have truly enjoyed them. If you are interested in the tree cards (3euros/card), don’t hesitate to ask about them.

Painting is the most relaxing outlet, especially when it’s grey and gloomy outside. It makes it all the more desirable to snuggle under a blanket in the kitchen and create something beautiful in twinkling candle lights sipping on a hot frothy cappuccino.
