A visual sanctuary made with a touch of nordic zest, dreamy travels and an ideology of finding beauty in the changing seasons, this au naturel site is your route to turning something ordinary into something special. It is the small things in life (and a great bouquet of wild flowers) that create something extraordinary.

With a twinkle in my eye, I have a love for white linen dresses and the smell of lavender and lemons. I am Hanna Kristiina Amy, born and raised in Finland. Xo amy’s combines the beauty of Scandinavian simplicity by exploring little delicious things in life that inspire me. May this be nature, interior or cooking, this lifestyle blog is a journey of moments that combine to create your own bliss.  With a blend of stylish inspirations and a balance of well-being, one outfit at a time, I hope to train your aesthetic eye to seeing the hidden beauty around you. 

This is me; a perfectionist (or control freak) that loves designing in neutral tones with minimal contrast. I love French antiques, linen and aged mirrors. Interior design is a bit of a passion and I am confident in my own style, that is classic and timeless.  I love setting the table and could possibly start a little restaurant with all the porcelain, cutlery and crystal I have tucked away in our over flowing kitchen. I love a frothy cappuccino, fresh blooms, white outfits and a fabulous handbag. Even though I love a glass of champagne, I live a healthy lifestyle, go crazy for green smoothies and love spending time in our clean nordic forests. Being seasonal is key. 

I love to cook and inspire sharing recipes with you all. I love Finnish berries, avocados and dark green leaves but the greatest inspiration from food, comes from our travels. May this be sea urchins from Puglia or handmade tortellinis from Sul Mincio, food plays a large role in our lives. I am a city gal but enjoy the countryside. I yearn to travel and have a definite soft spot for Italy. I have a relentless wanderlust for discovering new hidden destinations and sharing them with you, collecting moments that ultimately give me a new found lust for life.

I am married to my wonderful husband (Mr. N) and have a beautiful little baby Lucas and a dog Argentino called Siena. We are currently in the midst of planning and building our forever home out of the city, but the permits are taking longer than anticipated. One day, our seafront house and a kitchen garden will be ready and I cannot wait to share the journey with you.

My true passion however builds from photography, styling and visualizing. A photo tells a story, far stronger than words.
