on my namasté silk shirt…
Floral patterns have been big this spring, where blooming prints both bold and subtle have conquered runways and on the streets. For example, Gucci had beautiful oversized tropical floral on wavy silk, Christian Dior showed hints of it and Chanel created bold black and white graphic pieces. I see floral in pants, tops, as embellishments and seems as if 2013 spring and summer has taken flower power to a new level and sneaked into every fashionistas wish lists!
I personally am not a huge fan of floral patterns, but this shirt is an exception. It may be that I am drawn to the shirt design, as like this diagonal cut and the fact that the print is so abstract and in all the right places. It has a crisp and clean look even though there is a lot going on. I think it has a calm namasté vibe to it and reminds me of piece of origami.
Love the shirt. It has a very lovely oriental feel to it and I love the subtle print too. You have styled the shirt so well! Looks lovely! Thanks for sharing 🙂

Yes oriental was the word I was looking for! 🙂 Thank you sweets!
The shirt does give off a very calming vibe, as opposed to some other prints that can be quite overwhelming. Very beautiful. 🙂
