This year has passed by so quickly, I can’t believe it is soon 2017, another year, a new blank page. ♥ With all the sadness going around in the world, you can only hope for a more peaceful upcoming year. Despite all this, it has personally been a monumental one for Mr. N and I, as we got married and had our amazing honeymoon that I will remember forever! I’m grateful for him, for my family, all my friends and for health of course. I’m looking forward to the upcoming year, to live life to the fullest without hesitation and see what life has in store for us! Intent followed by action.
I usually don’t make any New Years resolutions, just to try to be a better version of myself, an amazing wife ( aka nag less about cleaning), be there for my friends and family and keep setting myself goals that give me direction. The new year stands before us, like a chapter in a book, waiting to be written. Tonight we are going to have a cocktail party at our house, I’m just about to arrange some flowers and prepare final touches. I cannot get over this delicate combination of vintage colour roses, eucalyptus leaves and wax flowers… and they smell just divine! The champagne is cooling, I’m sipping on some matcha latte and chia pudding with grape fruit, lychee, pecan nuts and banana slices and soon going to hop into the shower and get ready.
I’m sad to see this year come to end but it has warmed my heart with the best memories, but I’m looking forward to making new ones. I’m excited to see my nephew grow but saddened as the years go by as the love of my life Bella, our dog is getting older and that raises huge worry inside me. I want to thank all my lovely readers for thus past year and all my loved ones near and far is a blessing in itself. Don’t stop, don’t worry that it isn’t good enough, or it isn’t perfect, whatever it is: art, or love, or work or family or life. Life is fragile and unexpected, it’s better to live with no regrets with a smile on those pretty lips!
